Log in to MetaTrader 5 (first time ever)

1. Step 1

   Get the three fields from Credentials

   First sign in to the website (Sign in), not to MetaTrader. Open Credentials. If the page is empty, the trading account is not issued yet — read After you pay and check My challenges.

   On the card, find Login (usually a number), Server (a name like a broker server), and Password. Password stays hidden. Tap Reveal. We ask for your website password or a one-time email code. That is normal. Copy all three exactly — a missing letter in the server name means you will connect to the wrong place or to nothing.

   The Platforms page is general marketing. Your real platform is the one printed on this card.

2. Step 2

   Install official MT5 from the download row

   Stay on Credentials. Under the same card, use the Windows / macOS / Android / iOS (or web terminal) links we printed. Those open the official MetaTrader 5 installer or store page.

   Do not search a random broker in the first-run wizard and open a free MetaQuotes demo. That demo is not your challenge and will never show our rules.

   If the card says MT4, stop this guide and open Log in to MetaTrader 4 instead.

   In MT5: File → Login to Trade Account

   Open the MT5 window. The top menus stay in English even if Windows is another language. Click File (first menu). Click Login to Trade Account.

   Some builds say Open an Account. Choose the option that logs into an existing trade account. Do not create a new demo from MetaQuotes.

   You are still not trading. You are only opening the login form.

4. Step 4

   Paste login and password, then search the server

   In the form: Login = the number from Credentials. Password = the revealed trading password (not the website password from Sign in).

   Server: click the field and type the name from the vault. Pick the matching row in the search list, including any suffix. A similar name from another broker will not connect to your challenge.

   Press Login. If it fails, copy the three fields again. Do not try random servers. Then open Tickets and paste login, server spelling, and the exact error text.

5. Step 5

   After you are in: rules live on our site, not only in MT5

   Sharing login details is a hard breach — the account can close. Keep the password only on your device and in Credentials.

   MT5 shows broker profit and loss. Our daily loss, max loss, news windows, and phase result are on Trader dashboard and My challenges. After each session, look there. Also check News calendar before you trade if your program restricts news.
